CareCFA 360™

The vision of the Caregiver Coalition Fund of America (CareCFA) is to ensure that all nonpaid family caregivers/carers have access to the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and socioeconomic resources they need to fulfill their caregiving roles.  It is also the goal of CareCFA to harness the monetary and nonmonetary resources needed by independent non-profit tax-exempt caregiver/carer organizations so that they can effectively deliver caregiver-centered programs and services.  It is in this regard that CareCFA has two main functions.  First, CareCFA will strive to  accumulate resources that are needed by community-based nonprofit caregiver organizations.  Second, CareCFA will drive the resources to the “front-lines” of caregiving so that there can be a positive measurable impact on the hundreds of millions of caregivers/carers throughout the World; including the 69 million family caregivers in the United States.

It is the harnessing and distribution of resources needed by family caregivers/carers that serves as the operational focal points of CareCFA360.  In order to address this need, CareCFA has initiated a regionally based integrative architectural structure that will help to ensure that monetary and nonmonetary resources are effectively channeled and distributed to community-based nonprofit caregiver organizations for the benefit of family caregivers/carers.  The benefits of the regionally based integrative architectural structure are as follows:

  1. enhanced coordination of caregiver services within the region;
  2. services are provided to caregivers/carers in a timely and cost-effective manner;
  3. the integrative architectural structure that forms the framework of CareCFA360 is designed to enhance the number of donations, the awarding of grants and corporate sponsorships;
  4. through the use of CareCFA360, fundraising strategies will be strategically enhanced for the delivery of services and support to nonpaid family caregivers/carers;
  5. more caregivers/carers are engaged per unit of spending;
  6. promote the sharing of policies and procedures among caregiver/carer organizations within the region;
  7. the provisioning of “one stop shops” for services to caregivers/carers;
  8. more positive and sustainable caregiver/carer outcomes.

CareCFA360 represents a groundbreaking approach for helping family caregivers/carers.  It is a model that promotes innovation as well as continuous programmatic improvement and sustainability.  Most importantly, CareCFA360 will allow the Caregiver Coalition Fund of America to positively address the organization’s key metric:
