The Caregiver Coalition Fund of America
Hosts Family Caregiver Gala
Building A Compassionate Tomorrow
On September 13, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Crescent Beach Club, Bayville, New York 11709, the Caregiver Coalition Fund of America (CareCFA) will host its annual Caregiver Gala. The theme for this year’s Gala is: Building A Compassionate Tomorrow. There are over 70 million unpaid family caregivers, and over 2.5 million of these caregivers reside on geographic Long Island (i.e., Boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, and Nassau and Suffolk Counties). In the greater New York Metropolitan region there are over 6.9 million unpaid family caregivers. The 2022 Gala will serve as a unique occasion to unite the entire caregiver community to honor individuals and organizations that serve the needs of nonpaid family caregivers.
The Caregiver Coalition Fund of America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to supporting the physical, emotional, spiritual, and socioeconomic needs of nonpaid family caregivers. At this year’s Gala, CareCFA will honor two extraordinary individuals who have made a significant contribution to persons in need: The Caregiver of Excellence Awards. The Caregiver Coalition Fund of America will also recognize, through its Caregiver Legacy Award, Caring For The Caregiver for its foundational work in serving nonpaid family caregivers.
